PROM-TIME

[:de]Laaange gesucht – endlich gefunden. Bereits Anfang September machte ich es mir zur Aufgabe, das perfekte Ballkleid für mich zu finden. Kurz vor Weihnachten habe ich es glücklicherweise bei Zalando entdeckt. Das Kleid von ChiChi London hat die perfekte Länge, denn ich bin ja schließlich keine 16 Jahre mehr alt, um ein Kleid zu tragen, dass mir gerade mal unter die Pobacken langt. Es ist zwar in dezentem dunkelblau gehalten, dennoch finde ich die glitzernde Bestickung ein tolles Highlight. Zum Kleid getragen habe ich graue Pumps von SMH, eine Clutch von Guess, ein Tennisarmband von Swarovski und eine eigens von mir genähte fake Fur Jacke. Wichtig war mir, dass meine Haare nach oben gesteckt waren, da sonst der schöne Spitz total untergegangen wäre. Der Grund warum ich überhaupt ein solch festliches Kleid benötigt habe, war der Abschlussball meiner kleinen Schwester, die demnächst die Matura an der HTL absolviert. Wie einige von euch vielleicht schon mitbekommen haben, habe auch ich mich dazu entschlossen meine Matura nachzuholen. Somit hatte ich vergangenes Wochenende das Gefühl, dass auch, wenn ich nicht auf der Bühne gestanden habe, dies mein persönlicher Maturaball war. Das Kleid lässt sich nicht nur zu Bällen super tragen, sondern auch auf Abendveranstaltungen wie einer Gala, Dinner oder wer es gerne schick mag sogar an Heiligabend unterm Weihnachtsbaum.

Looong wanted – finally founded. In early September, I made it my mission to find the perfect prom dress for me. A few days before Christmas, I fortunately saw it at Zalando.

The dress from ChiChi London has the perfect length, because I’m not 16 any more to wear a dress that ends right under my butt. Although it is kept dark blue in discreet, the glittering embroidery is a great highlight. I have worn gray pumps by SMH to dress, a clutch from Guess, a tennis bracelet of Swarovski and a selfmade fake fur jacket sewed by me. It was important to me that my hair was stuck to the top, otherwise the beautiful lace would be totally lost.

The reason I’ve needed such a festive dress, was the prom from my little sister, who graduated soon at the HTL. As some of you may have noticed, that I’ve decided to make up my diploma too. Thus I had last weekend the feeling that even if I haven’t been on stage, this was my personal prom.

The dress is not only to wear on prom, it’s also for evening events like a gala, dinners or who like it chic even on Christmas Eve under the tree.
